I have a million books left on my TBR and it is never going down. So I decided to pick some books I want to read by the end of this year. Can you believe it is the end of 2019 already?
So I have decided that I want to get my Currently Reading down to minimum 3 books, to do this I want to finish:
Illuminae, The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Overcoming Anxiety and Depression by Bob Phillips
I have chosen five more books to finish before the year is up. This is them:
Hamlet by William Shakespeare
The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkein
Sisterhood Everlasting, Sisterhood #5 by Ann Brashares
The Farseekers, Obernewtyn #2 by Isobel Carmody
Glass Sword, Red Queen #2 by Victoria Aveyard
Reality is I will never read this many, also I will probably read something else rather than these. This should get my TBR down quite a bit. Finger’s crossed.

I’ve read Illuminae files first book. I would recommend you to read it in hardcover. The book itself is part of the narrative and you might 5-star like it!

I did end up finishing it. I loved the format, but really id not like the overall story. I ended up giving it 3 stars!

I see. I agree Illuminae files plot wise isn’t all that glorious.😅 So do you generally not vibe with sci-fi or was it just this one? If you like poetic prose, historical fiction and fantasy then I would highly recommend Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden and The night Circus by Erin Morgenstern ! (they are my 5 star reads of this year)
